LS Jupiter missile takes off. VS, formation of troops parade past. AVs, Pentagon in Washington. CUs, pilots at controls of airborne plane. AVs, from inside plane as it lands at Lawson Field, Fort Benning Ga. Honor Guard on field is seen thru window of landing plane. VS, visiting civilians leave the plane and are greeted by Maj. Gen. Paul L. Freeman and his staff. MS, Mr. Hunter and Gen. Freeman talking. VS, the group examines Nike-Hercules and Hawk missiles and radar and guidance system on display. VS, large crowd of civilian and military specators in stand as Brig. Gen. Chester V. Clifton Jr. reviews the program. VS, demonstration of Ranger and Paratrooper training. Ground view, C-119 planes fly overhead and hundreds of paratroopers jump and float to ground. LS, helicopter flies in, lands and takes off. VS, visitors at outdoor tables eat with officer candidates. VS, foreign visitors include officers from various countries and Burmese, Korean, Vietnamese servicewomen. Demonstration of Infantry Weapons MLS, soldier fires .45 cal pistol with incendiary shot. Dummy on range bursts into flames. VS, rifle grenades including signal flares are displayed on table. Bursts from the various grenades on range. MS, soldiers fire M-14, M-15 rifles and the M-60 machine gun. Officer holds up anti-tank mine; large explosion on range. M-41 light tank, M-56 90mm SP gun and M-56 chassis with 106mm recoilless rifles drive by. VS, 81mm 60mm, 4.2 mortars are loaded and fired. Explosions on range. Portable flame thrower is used against pillbox on range. 106mm recoilless rifle mounted on jeep is fired. LS, bazooka shell bursts on range. Fast cuts of shell bursts and various weapons firing. Five M-56 SP guns on line, fire. Nike-Ajax missile is raised on launcher and fired. Nike-Hercules is fired at bomber. No hit. Hawk is launched. Little John rocket is flown in by helicopter, set up by crew and fired. Honest John rocket with nuclear warhead is fired. Atom burst in distance. La Crosse and Sargeant missiles are fired. Night scenes, tracer fire and flame throwers. Night scene, atom blast.

Chester Victor Clifton Jr. (September 24, 1913 – December 23, 1991) was a Major General in the United States Army and an aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Clifton was born in Edmonton, Alberta before moving to the United States and settling in Puyallup, Washington. He attended the University of Washington and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a master's degree in Journalism.
